San Clemente Mid-Century Modern Makeover

This dream project offered the opportunity to work with clients who were moving to SoCal from the Bay Area and out of there Eames home.  We worked together to give this lackluster ranch style home a Mid-Century modern presence and an indoor/outdoor style.

The new front entry portico is a shed roof with exposed rafters and wood posts that leads to a welcoming a bright glass door.  Nestled behind the cedar plank wall are a new bathroom and office for the couple.  The office space was reclaimed from former patio space, necessitating the shifting of the front door.

The living room beyond was completely redone to feature a multi-slide wall to the back deck and a corner fireplace.
