Irvine Primary Bath Wet Room Conversion

This outdated primary bath was in need of a facelift...and it had so much space that I knew it could be arranged better.

The client never used the tub, so it didn't make sense that the huge spa tub was taking up almost half of the floor area while the shower that she uses everyday was tucked into a 3'x3' space in the back corner.  First order of business, move the shower to the sunny side of the room and enlarge it!  However, it didn't make sense to remove the bathtub altogether in a bathroom of this size.  So, we incorporated it into the design of the new shower.

Second, we moved the toilet into its own wet closet and added a full size linen cabinet so that the client would no longer have to walk out to the hall to get a clean towel.

This transformation is remarkable!!
